Lizzie's Waltz

Since I haven't gotten myself to compose anything new in a while, I decided to give you a small glimpse into my dark past. This piece is from the time I first figured out how to compose, which is about, hmm, one year ago

Here's the song:
JK Salo - Lizzie's Waltz.mp3

As the name says, this is a waltz. Don't ask why it's Lizzie's waltz. Or, well, I picked up the name 'Lizzie' from a names site with names for vampires. Yeah. The piece is kind of gloomy, and makes me think of old black-and-white horror movies somehow.

But let me know what you think, I always like to hear other people's opinions and suggestions.

Enjoy,
crimson

Re: Lizzie's Waltz

Very nice. I see what you mean about the silent film - probably make a good accompaniment to something like "Spiders"!

You certainly got some interest into this composition, early or not. Most engaging. Thanks for giving us a listen!

cheers,
reith
