Sonata Movement

As someone asked about sonata development, I thought I'd try to write a sonata form movement over the weekend. Here is the result. The development is way to short (as is the recap). I think I also have too much thematic material.

It's my first try at sonata form in a major key. (I have tried in minor keys, but seems to be easier.) I don't like my transition to the dominant.

I'm just trying to learn by doing. I'll do another later.

For a first try (in major) it is very good!
The form is clearly defined and there is a good amount of harmonic variety which keeps interest.
I think the length is fine (a matter of personal taste). I look forward to hearing more.
