Polka

While watching "The Big Joe Polka Show" on satellite TV, I decided I should try a polka. As Finale2007 has no accordion, I created a pseudo-accordion using clarinets, bassoons, and contra-bassoons.

Not bad, you harmony is consistent and convincing all the way through. I think though that this arranged for a woodwind ensemble would yield better results.

I found the lack of dynamics made the piece a bit 2D. You have some nice climaxes that are traditional of the polka yet I think if the dynamics worked in conjunction with these, a much greater effect would be produced.
