| Baudelaire I'm starting to look at Baudelaire as a source of inspiration, unsure yet whether a setting is possible (for me) or just using the words for musical inspiration. Problem 1 is that Baudelaire intended all his poems in the set "Les Fleurs du Mal" to be kept as a set, not quoted individually. Problem 2 is whether I could 'add' anything to the poem(s) or just ruin them. I thought to post something because I just reviewed a piece "A Night at the Haram" that at once reminded me of Baudelaire's "Parfum Exotique". Reith. |
