| Swords and Sorcery - Overture This is the intro theme to the ridiculous 'The Dagger of Deliverance' fantasy movie. Lead and rhythm guitar parts are live recorded, while the orchestral instruments are completely synthesized. The piece is classically structured into four parts, almost like a rondo: First of all A (the main theme), B (something like an interlude), C (theme reprise + transposition) and finally D; a second, more romantic theme in a major key. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...ngID= 5666475 Hope you'll enjoy. :-) Dustin Last edited by Cthulu : 21-12-2007 at 04:47 PM. |

| Re: Swords and Sorcery - Overture I did like the high energy of the music itself. When watching the vid I felt that perhaps there should have been more or longer moments when there were changes in texture and perhaps give yourself a chance to introduce new themes and motifs. Perhaps it would be a good idea to give each Charater a theme or motif and rework the music and maybe the vid to support the musical idea. Anyway, good work. Looks like it was a fun project. |
