| Music for Theatre: Almost Looney...Tunes, that is. Hey there! I haven't posted for a little while -- children's theatre is keeping me quite busy these days. Here are some clips from one of the two Christmas shows I'm working on. Yep folks, it's that time of year again. I'm working on a play based on the children's book, "If you take a mouse to the movies...". If you're not familiar with these books, there are a slew of them. This is the second show I've done in this series of books that have been adapted for the stage; the first being "If you give a mouse a cookie...". The concept for these is easy. It's an ADD/ADHD mouse who takes as much as you'll give him. "Make it sound cartoony", they said. Well that's what I did...BTW, if you ever want a good lesson in orchestration, score a cartoon. Then put it live on stage and you'll know what I'm dealing with. Craziness!!! It's basically Looney Tunes, with a twist. The twist being me, of course. Hope you enjoy. Would love to hear comments if ya got 'em. Cheers!
