Showdown - Mr Smoozles Goes Nutso OST

Showdown is a track from a game I recently wrote the music for called Mr Smoozles Goes Nutso (a cartoony game...cats, lasers, aliens etc). It's on MySpace. I'm on the internet at home at the moment and have no way of uploading the MP3 so I have to just point you to my signature for you to hear it.

I can hear faults in the piece as I listen to it now. Some of the volumes are messed up, and some of the sounds are too hissy. The original file was a MIDI you see, and the MP3 version is my first attempt at using Reason so it has some very basic flaws. I plan to remake the MP3 versions of the files before I release the soundtrack properly. I'd still be interested to see what you think though.

I couldn't find the piece on your myspace. I clicked the title panel but that led me to "Juniper Games".

I'd like to hear the piece tho, so if you can tell me where to find it on the site, thanks!

Sorry....found it. Obviously need me specs!

Ah, we're there. Nice - yes, very game. As a piece it suffers a little from lack of dynamic change but in a game that wouldn't matter. Nice clean harmony and energetic. I liked the occasional sound like an analog synth playing high and the grace notes in the strings.

Thanks. I agree that it could do with some dynamic change for the soundtrack version. In the game I think it needs to be fairly constant to maintain the excitement, but maybe as a soundtrack release it could do with being more varied. I'll see what I can do

Thanks again,
